Sat on five Eagle boards last night. All candidates were successful. We even had TWINS! What a rewarding evening. It does take a bit out of you though … the A/C was either laboring or not turned on. I know the Scouts normally sweat a bit, but in that room, everybody sweated.
Had a great time at the beach camp out at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach. Here’s a few photos that Jennifer sent along.
Okay … it was a great week at Bayport Scout Reservation, our own council camp. The weather was pretty good, everybody earned Merit Badges, and everyone had a great time. Here’s the video from our stay.
Troop 11 performed a flag ceremony for the March for Babies at Christopher Newport University on April 29th. This is the second year that we have participated.
Just a short video showing the guys preparing breakfast at Chippokes Plantation State Park.
Here’s a photo of the guys digging up electrical cable at Bayport Scout Reservation on a day of service.
OK … after many years, the website is being changed a bit. The separate menu item for blogs is going away. All blogging activity will be on the main page here. I have added a link to all of the past videos, so none of that content is being lost. This should make the site more timely and up-to-date, as well as easier to maintain.
It’s that time of year again — MULCH TIME. Details can be found on the order form here. The proceeds from this sale are used to supplement costs and to provide summer camp scholarships for Troop members.
We won first place in our class and 2nd place overall! Great work guys! The video is posted over on the Chairman’s Blog. Check it out!
